Maharashtra Winter Session Opens With LoP Posts Vacant as Opposition Boycotts Tea

Presiding officers say they will consider Opposition nominations after consultations, with the government pointing to the 10% convention.

  • The Maha Vikas Aghadi skipped the customary pre-session tea to protest the absence of Leaders of the Opposition in both the Assembly and Council.
