Maharashtra Tops CAT 2024 With Most 100 Percentile Scorers

The Common Admission Test 2024 results reveal 14 candidates with perfect scores, including five from Maharashtra, as engineers dominate top ranks.

The CAT 2024 results, conducted by IIM Calcutta, were announced on December 19, with 14 candidates scoring a perfect 100 percentile.
Among the top scorers, 13 were male and engineers, while only one was female and a non-engineer.
Maharashtra led the regional performance with five candidates scoring 100 percentile, followed by Telangana with two, and other states contributing one each.
Out of 3.29 lakh registered candidates, 2.93 lakh appeared for the test, with a gender breakdown of 1.86 lakh males, 1.07 lakh females, and nine transgender individuals.
The CAT 2024 scores will be used by IIMs and 86 other institutions for admissions, with shortlists expected to follow soon.
