Maharashtra Teen Dies by Suicide After Mother's Refusal to Buy Mobile Phone

The 15-year-old boy was found dead in his home after his mother cited financial difficulties in denying his birthday request for a new phone.

The incident took place in Miraj city, Sangli district, Maharashtra, on Saturday night.
The boy, identified as Vishwajeet Ramesh Chamdanwale, had recently celebrated his birthday and asked for a mobile phone as a gift.
His mother declined the request due to financial constraints, according to police reports.
Vishwajeet was found hanging in his home while his mother and sister were asleep.
An accidental death report (ADR) has been filed, and police are conducting further investigations into the case.
