Overview

  • Eight MoUs and two strategic agreements were signed on August 19, with the state prioritising data centres and solar manufacturing.
  • Prestige Estate Projects committed ₹12,500 crore for data centres, logistics and real estate with 8,700 jobs, while Jupiter International pledged ₹10,900 crore for solar manufacturing with 8,308 jobs.
  • Data-centre investments include Rochak Systems (₹2,508 crore), Rovison Tech Hub (₹2,564 crore) and Webmint Digital (₹4,846 crore), planned in Navi Mumbai’s TTC/Taloja industrial zone.
  • Additional projects include LNK Green Energy’s ₹4,700 crore solar manufacturing unit at AURIC, Vow Iron & Steel’s ₹4,300 crore plant at Gondpipari in Chandrapur and a ₹575 crore Atlas Copco project in Dapodi, Pune that is slated to create 3,400 jobs.
  • Strategic agreements span a Global India Business Corridor tie-up to court UK and European investors and a TuTr Hyperloop MoU for a high-speed mobility system at JNPT and Vadhavan, with IIT Bombay and IIT Madras involvement.
