• The Majha Ghar ashram in Budhoda-Wangjewadi, Latur, run by Manus Pratishthan, has completed subject-focused murals across its walls.
• The content spans Marathi alphabets, English grammar and vocabulary, mathematical applications, the solar system, maps of Maharashtra and India, and parts of the human body.
• Additional illustrations show animals, birds, environmental themes, and Indian instruments including tabla, harmonium, dholki, and veena to reinforce cultural learning.
• Founder-operator Sharad Zare says the murals function as interactive guides that help children engage with lessons without a teacher present.
• Zare says students raised about Rs 2 lakh last year by selling Diwali items and used the money for the painting work, according to a PTI-syndicated report.
