Overview
- Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Vikas Kharge is leading the inquiry as departments compile land records, registration files and claimed exemption documents.
- Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale and sub-registrar R. B. Taru were suspended after the IGR cited registration without proper verification and collection of only Rs 500 despite non‑waivable 2% cesses of about Rs 6 crore.
