Maharashtra Opens NEET‑MDS 2026 State CAP Registration

An Aug. 24 registration deadline will trigger document verification followed by merit lists to allocate state‑quota MDS seats.

Overview

  • The Maharashtra CET Cell opened Round 1 CAP registration on Aug. 20 with online enrollment open through Aug. 24 and a Rs 3,000 registration fee plus a security deposit due by 10:00 PM on Aug. 24.
  • Online document verification is scheduled for Aug. 25 and the provisional merit list will be published on Aug. 26, followed by a grievance window on Aug. 27 and final merit list and seat matrix on Aug. 29.
  • Non‑resident applicants seeking the 15% NRI quota must complete Foreign Candidate portal registration by Aug. 23 and candidates who joined All India Quota counselling must still register separately with the Maharashtra authority to be considered for state seats.
  • Applicants must upload original documents such as the NEET‑MDS admit card and scorecard, BDS degree, internship completion certificate dated on or before May 31, 2026, a dental council registration certificate, photo ID, nationality proof and a medical fitness certificate, and the CET Cell says registration alone does not guarantee admission.
  • Missing deadlines or incomplete documents can lead to rejection or loss of category claims so candidates should retain payment receipts and copies of uploaded files and be prepared to report in person to allotted colleges from Sept. 3 to Sept. 7 if allotted a seat.
