Overview

• An official government resolution requires every Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin beneficiary to complete Aadhaar-based e-KYC within two months or have payments withheld.
• Annual re-authentication is compulsory, with the e-KYC facility live on ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in and no fee for assisted submissions.
• The scheme pays ₹1,500 a month to women aged 21–65 with annual family income up to ₹2.5 lakh, covering about 2.25 crore recipients.
• State IT analytics have flagged around 26 lakh potentially ineligible entries, and anganwadi workers are conducting physical surveys, with district reports expected soon.
