Overview
- Lodha confirmed the agreement to develop a 370-acre Green Integrated Data Centre Park in Palava City in the Ambernath–Dombivli belt of Thane district.
- The planned park targets about 2 gigawatts of capacity and is designed to host multiple international and domestic data-centre operators.
- The company said the roughly ₹30,000 crore investment will come from Lodha and other data-centre players, with about 6,000 direct and indirect jobs expected.
- Lodha shares opened higher on Friday after the exchange filing, touching an intraday high of ₹1,218 versus a previous close of ₹1,181.
- The MoU was part of a broader ceremony where Maharashtra announced ₹1.08 lakh crore in investment MoUs across sectors with an estimated 47,000 direct jobs.
