Maharashtra Intensifies Enforcement Against 420 Unauthorised Schools in Mumbai

A special investigation team is probing unauthorised staff listings following registration of 126 criminal cases under existing school regulation rules.

  • State Minister Dada Bhuse told the Assembly that authorities have penalised 103 of the 420 unlicensed schools and closed 47 under the 2010 decision and 2012 regulations.
