Maharashtra Extends Ladki Bahin e-KYC Deadline To December 31, 2025

Officials cited flood disruptions plus OTP hurdles, promising offline help to prevent eligible women from losing benefits.

Overview

  • Electronic KYC is mandatory to keep receiving the scheme’s Rs 1,500 monthly transfer.
  • The previous November 18 cutoff has been moved to December 31, 2025 after widespread verification difficulties.
  • Women unable to receive Aadhaar OTPs, including widows or divorced applicants, can complete verification by submitting death certificates, divorce decrees or court orders.
  • e-KYC can be done on ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in, with assistance available at Anganwadi, SEtU and taluka offices.
  • The push follows detection of roughly 26.34 lakh ineligible registrations, and payments may be paused for beneficiaries who do not finish e-KYC by the new date.
