  • The Higher and Technical Education Department has notified an amendment introducing a fourth Centralised Admission Process round for undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated technical courses.
  • Candidates unable to apply directly to colleges can now submit applications for institutional quota seats through the CET Cell website.
  • Eligibility for first-year design programmes will be determined by UCEED scores, with D.Voc marks serving as a secondary criterion for vacant seats.
  • The rules for automatic seat freezing now cover allotments among the top three choices in Round II and top six in Round III, with clear provisions for withdrawal consequences.
  • Institutions can charge up to three times the standard fees for management quota and up to five times for NRI seats, while online cancellation requests incur a Rs1,000 processing fee before the stipulated deadline.
