- In this tranche, subsidies for April–July 2025 were deposited into beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
- The Agriculture Department staged the disbursement at Mantralaya, attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Agriculture Minister Dattatreya Bharane and Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar.
- The Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi is modeled on the Centre’s PM-Kisan scheme and provides direct financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.
- Before this release, six instalments under the state scheme had delivered ₹11,130 crore to 93.09 lakh farmers.
- Agriculture Minister Bharane said the support helps farmers meet production costs, promotes sustainable agriculture and strengthens the rural economy.
