Overview
- The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure approved a 53.4 km Pune–Shirur highway combining a four-lane at-grade road with a six-lane elevated expressway.
- A 7.4 km section will use a stacked viaduct to carry road and metro, to be built jointly by MahaMetro and the state infrastructure development corporation.
- Two six-lane links in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar were cleared—32.8 km Shendra–Bidkin and 26 km Bidkin–Dhoregaon—with immediate land acquisition ordered.
