- Nomination papers are being issued and accepted through December 30 with scrutiny on December 31, withdrawals on January 2, symbol allocation on January 3, polling on January 15 and counting on January 16.
- Early data show heavy uptake but few filings: Mumbai distributed 4,165 forms with zero nominations on Day 1, Pune sold 2,886 with none filed, Nagpur recorded no submissions, Thane issued 1,069 forms, and Panvel sold 194 on Day 2 with no papers filed.
- Thane detailed full readiness including 2,013 polling stations, orders for 12,650 staff with reserves, first training rounds on December 27–29, deployment of about 5,500 police, and a single-window system for campaign permissions and certificates.
- BNCMC outlined ward-wise RO appointments and infrastructure for 6,69,033 voters with 750 booths, 820 EVMs, MCC enforcement squads, surveillance teams, pink booths for women staff and model polling stations.
- PMC said 15 Returning Officers and 22 election cells are operational, 4,012 polling stations are finalized, model code enforcement teams are active, and a streamlined system for no‑dues and permissions is in place.
