Overview

• Overnight teams searched residences and offices in Kondhwa, Khadak, Khadki, Wanwadi and Bhosari, targeting electronic devices and documents for forensic analysis.
• The operation is tied to the Pune ISIS module investigation registered as C.R. No. 7/2023, which expanded after 2023 Kothrud arrests exposed alleged radicalisation, recruitment and IED preparation.
• Several individuals were detained for questioning during the coordinated sweeps, with authorities yet to announce any fresh arrests or major seizures.
• In a separate action at Moshi in Pimpri-Chinchwad, ATS detained a 29-year-old and seized a laptop and papers, while local police said they were not briefed in advance.
• Investigators are pursuing leads linked to disclosures by accused operative Talha Liyakat Ali Khan, whom NIA and ATS allege helped fund the module and organised an IED workshop in Kondhwa in 2022.
