Maharashtra Approves Four New Mumbai Police Stations, Adds Two Zones and Three ACP Divisions

Phased activation will begin once staffing and infrastructure are ready, with the reorganisation aimed at strengthening supervision in fast‑growing areas.

  • The GR sanctions 1,448 posts for the four stations with recurring expenditure of Rs 124.13 crore and non-recurring Rs 7.39 crore, according to official accounts.
