Overview

• The MahaKhaniij portal now issues electronic transport permits 24 hours a day to maximize licensed sand movement and deter illegal hauling.
• All excavated sand depots will be geo-fenced and fitted with CCTV cameras while every transport vehicle must carry GPS trackers.
• The state aims to operationalize 1,000 manufactured-sand crusher units within three months by setting up 50 units per district on five-acre sites.
