- Multiple agencies confirmed the event with minor variance: SSN placed the epicenter 18 km northeast of Manzanillo, while UNAM and the Red Sísmica de Jalisco reported nearby coordinates and 15–16 km depth.
- Protección Civil Jalisco said the quake was perceptible in several municipalities, including Cihuatlán, Cuautitlán de García Barragán, La Huerta, Tomatlán, El Grullo, Tolimán and Tenamaxtlán.
- State authorities reported no affectations and kept communication with municipal units as coastal checks and routine evaluations continued.
