Magic: The Gathering Unveils Final Fantasy Crossover Set

The new set, releasing June 13, 2025, features characters, mechanics, and artwork inspired by all 16 mainline Final Fantasy games.

The Final Fantasy set is part of Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond series and will be the first Standard-legal crossover set.
Four pre-constructed Commander decks, themed around Final Fantasy VI, VII, X, and XIV, will include iconic characters like Cloud, Terra, Tidus, and Y’shtola.
The set introduces new mechanics, including Saga Creatures that evolve over multiple turns and double-faced cards representing transformations and iconic moments.
Over 100 legendary creatures and 55 borderless character cards will feature artwork from Magic artists and renowned Final Fantasy creators like Yoshitaka Amano.
Pre-orders are now available, with products including booster packs, bundles, and Commander decks, ahead of the set's official release on June 13, 2025.
