• Disney plans to start construction of Piston Peak National Park on July 7, 2025, closing Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat.
• The new land takes inspiration from the Cars franchise and the fictional park introduced in Planes: Fire & Rescue.
• A family-friendly rally race attraction will anchor the area alongside themed structures such as a visitor lodge and ranger headquarters.
• Designers will use parkitecture techniques to merge rivers, waterfalls, geysers and snowcapped peaks with Frontierland’s existing landscape.
• The broader expansion, the largest in Magic Kingdom’s history, will introduce four new attractions and a separate Villains Land area beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
