- Magic Kingdom will close to day guests at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, with a private event scheduled from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
- Dave Matthews Band is set to perform in front of Cinderella Castle for attendees of SAP Sapphire & ASUG, a tech conference in Orlando that runs May 11–13.
- Crews began visible setup on Monday in the hub, installing speaker towers, lighting rigs, and temporary truss systems around the castle.
- Private buyouts at Disney occur regularly and the daytime setup for them often changes the hub’s look and narrows walkways for regular guests.
- With no fireworks or evening rides at Magic Kingdom Wednesday, visitors can shift to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, which stay open until 9 p.m., or to Animal Kingdom, which closes at 6 p.m. and offers extended evening hours for select resorts.
