Magic Kingdom Completes Halloween Makeover Featuring Expanded Character Wreaths

The finished overlay ushers in the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, with fall theming set to remain through October 31.

Overview

  • Cast members completed an overnight transformation of Main Street, Town Square and the hub with Mickey pumpkin wreaths, scarecrows and updated floral fall displays.
  • Disney Parks officially installed new Dumbo and Timothy Q. Mouse pumpkin wreaths throughout Storybook Circus, extending Halloween décor beyond the park’s traditional focal points.
  • Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off August 15 and will run on select nights through October 31 before decorations are removed overnight for a Christmas overlay.
  • Downtown Disney and the World of Disney store have rolled out Halloween merchandise timed to coincide with the park’s seasonal change, including early fall décor.
  • Disney Vacation Club members can receive a complimentary Halloween tote at McKim’s Mile House on select party dates by presenting a valid party ticket, membership card and photo ID.
