Magic Kingdom Boat Service Suspended Overnight on Oct. 19–21
Guests must use temporary buses, the monorail, or walking routes because Disney has not confirmed the reason for the overnight suspensions.
Overview
- Posted dock notices at Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness state water transportation will be unavailable from 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 19–21.
- The suspension covers ferryboats, resort launches, and water taxis serving the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, and the Transportation and Ticket Center.
- Disney is directing affected guests to temporary bus service, the monorail where it runs, or pedestrian walkways and cast members are providing routing guidance at the parks.
- Reporters have observed construction and dock expansion work around Seven Seas Lagoon, but Disney has not publicly confirmed that those projects are the cause of the overnight closures.
- Guests should check the My Disney Experience app, follow posted dock notices, and ask cast members for current transit instructions because late-night departures and early-morning arrivals could be delayed.
