Mafia: The Old Country Set for August 8, 2025 Release

The long-awaited prequel to the Mafia series explores early 1900s Sicily and will debut across major platforms, with more details coming at a PAX live stream in May.

Hangar 13 has confirmed Mafia: The Old Country will launch on August 8, 2025, narrowing the previously broad 2025 release window.
The game will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with pre-orders now open.
Set in early 1900s Sicily, the game delves into the origins of organized crime, featuring a narrative-driven experience centered on protagonist Enzo Favara.
This marks the first new entry in the Mafia series since 2016’s Mafia III, reviving the franchise with a focus on historical storytelling.
A live stream event at PAX on May 8 will provide additional insights into the game and the broader Mafia franchise.
