'Madu' Documentary Chronicles Viral Ballet Dancer's Journey to Prestigious U.K. School

Madu leaves his home in Lagos, Nigeria, to study at the prestigious Elmhurst Ballet School in England, a journey that is filled with extraordinary obstacles and unexpected challenges.
The film is directed by Oscar-winners Matt Ogens and Joel ‘Kachi Benson and will premiere at the opening night of the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Feb. 7, before being released on Disney+ on March 29.
The documentary is produced by Jamie Patricof, Katie McNeill, and Rachel Halilej of Hunting Lane Films.
