- The City Council, which presented the official program Thursday, confirmed free concerts across the city from May 8 to 17.
- Madrid has activated a coordinated security and emergency plan with 2,300 municipal police, 300 SAMUR medics and fire resources, with reinforcements on weekends and on May 15, the patronal day.
- Police will deploy uniformed and plainclothes officers along with mounted, canine, environment, diversity and drone units to deter thefts, fights and other crowd risks.
- Emergency teams will place a daily advanced medical post near the Pradera de San Isidro and scale ambulances, first-response, foot and bicycle medics as crowds grow, while firefighters will run daily safety checks and staff the May 15 and 17 fireworks.
- Organizers expect traffic cuts during concert hours and advise using the metro to reach Parque de San Isidro, Plaza Mayor, Jardines de Las Vistillas and Matadero.
