- The charges stem from a June 2023 incident in Mogán, Gran Canaria where intimate encounters with a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were recorded and shared without consent.
- Raúl Asencio faces two years and six months in prison for alleged distribution of a sexual video, while Andrés García, Ferrán Ruiz and Juan Rodríguez each face four years and seven months for recording and distributing child pornography.
- Prosecutors also seek six-year prohibitions on approaching or contacting the victims, disqualification from passive suffrage for the duration of any sentence and compensation of €5,000 per victim for Asencio and €25,000 jointly for his ex-teammates.
