Overview
- Operated by Acciona Energía, the Vicálvaro hub debuts with 32 public chargers split across five 200 kW, ten 100 kW, eight 60 kW and nine 22 kW sockets.
- The facility runs 24/7 and includes spaces for light trucks and large vans plus four accessible bays for drivers with reduced mobility.
- A dedicated trolley station enables battery swapping for Silence electric vehicles at the site.
- All charging uses certified 100% renewable electricity supported by 150.42 kWp solar canopies that are expected to supply about 200,000 kWh a year and avoid over 54 tonnes of CO₂.
- City plans foresee a 2028 expansion to 56 charging places, alongside a wider target to add 168 public points across Madrid by 2027, mostly high‑power.
