Overview
- The central ceremony begins at 11:00 with the Royal Family, and the parade is scheduled to run from about 12:00 to 13:30 from the Glorieta del Emperador Carlos V to Colón along Prado and Recoletos.
- Defense authorities confirm 3,847 personnel, more than 100 vehicles, 74 aircraft and 229 horses will take part, with participation from the Army, Navy, Air and Space, Guardia Civil, National Police and UME.
- Madrid will close traffic along the route and nearby streets from 07:00 on Sunday, advise use of public transport and deploy about 450 municipal agents, with EMT bus lines rerouted and M-30/M-40 recommended for through traffic.
- AEMET now indicates any showers are unlikely until late afternoon on Sunday, reducing the chance of disruption but with the outlook still subject to change.
- Spectators are encouraged to arrive early near the Prado–Recoletos axis, and the event will be broadcast live on RTVE and streamed on the Defense Ministry’s YouTube channel.
