Madras High Court Orders All-Women SIT for Anna University Assault Case

  • The FIR’s victim-blaming language and its publication online were strongly condemned by the court, which emphasized the need for gender-sensitive policing and justice delivery.
  • The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also launched a fact-finding investigation and will visit Chennai to meet the survivor and her family.
