Madonna Reveals 48-Hour Coma During Summer Health Scare

Madonna revealed she was in a medically induced coma for 48 hours due to a serious bacterial infection during her recent concert in Brooklyn.
Madonna thanked her friend Shavawn, who she says saved her life by rushing her to the hospital after she passed out on her bathroom floor.
The pop icon also expressed gratitude to her Kabbalah teacher, who was by her side throughout her hospitalization.
Upon regaining consciousness, Madonna was surrounded by her six children, a sight she joked required her to 'almost die' to achieve.
Madonna resumed her 'Celebration' world tour in October after a delay for recovery.
