Madhya Pradesh Pitches PM MITRA Park to Investors in New Delhi

The outreach seeks binding investor commitments through incentives, one-to-one meetings, and detailed park presentations.

Overview

  • Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh are leading a Sept. 3 roadshow and interactive session in the capital to promote the Dhar textile hub.
  • The state has opened land allotment for the park from August 22 to September 11, offering plots at Rs 1 per square metre as premium with a development fee of ₹120 per square foot, which officials say is the lowest among PM MITRA parks.
  • Planned at Bhainsola in Badnawar tehsil, Dhar, the integrated park spans over 2,100 acres and includes a 20 MLD zero-liquid-discharge plant, solar power, built-to-suit units, and worker housing.
  • Officials project around 300,000 direct and indirect jobs and target construction completion in roughly 14 months, contingent on investor commitments and execution.
  • State briefings cite an estimated investment of over Rs 2,000 crore and position the project to revive Madhya Pradesh’s lagging textile base through central–state coordination and single-window facilitation.
