Overview

• Cabinet approved the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Leave) Rules 2025, extending maternity leave to surrogate and commissioning mothers, granting 15 days of paternity leave in adoption cases, and opening child care leave to single male employees.
• Administrative changes include 10 days of earned leave for academic cadre staff, advance credit of half‑pay leave, a higher earned leave cap of 180 days, and a simplified application process for seriously ill and specially‑abled employees.
