Madhya Pradesh Launches Youth Empowerment Mission on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti

The Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission aims to enhance education, employment, and self-reliance for youth by 2030.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission on National Youth Day, January 12, 2025.
The mission sets ambitious goals, including 100% pass rates for 10th and 12th-grade students and employment for 70% of the state's youth by 2028.
Key initiatives include skill development programs, the establishment of a Skill University, and partnerships with organizations like the Global Skill Park and TRIDENT Group.
The mission also emphasizes youth participation in social initiatives, aiming for 70% involvement by 2030, and fostering self-reliance through education and entrepreneurship.
The launch coincided with a series of events, including a mass Surya Namaskar session and the transfer of funds to beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna scheme.
