Officials estimate the scanning of pre-2014 medical records, at a rate of 3,000 pages per day, will take approximately 550 days to complete once initiated.
A proposal to establish a cloud server for storing digitised records under the e-hospital project is awaiting financial approval, with funding expected in the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The court has set the next hearing for February 18, requiring a compliance report on the progress of the digitisation initiative.
