Overview

• Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav handed over a land allotment letter for 60.063 hectares in Raisen district to BEML for a new Rs 1,800 crore metro coach manufacturing plant.
• The BEML facility will produce metro and Vande Bharat train coaches, supporting the Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
• CM Yadav flagged off BEML’s 2,100th metro coach in Bengaluru and toured the company’s Integrated Design Centre to review its technological capabilities.
• The 'Invest in MP' session included presentations on Madhya Pradesh’s industrial policies and one-on-one meetings between Yadav and investors from key sectors such as IT, manufacturing, and defence.
• This initiative is part of a broader campaign to double Madhya Pradesh’s economy, create jobs, and establish 2025 as the ‘Year of Industry and Employment.’
