Overview

• Chief Minister Mohan Yadav chaired the July 22 cabinet meeting that approved the Data Consolidation Scheme under the Planning, Economic and Statistics Department.
• The scheme mandates timely collection, analysis and department-wide sharing of statistics with researchers, policymakers and citizens.
• The cabinet sanctioned Rs 464.55 crore for renovation of Gandhisagar’s five units and Rs 573.76 crore for modernization of Rana Pratap Sagar’s four units.
