Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Clears AYUSH Hospital Hiring, 5-Year Mission Vatsalya Push, Higher-Capacity Solar Pumps

The approvals shift key programs from plans to funded rollout across the state.

Overview

  • The cabinet approved 373 posts and 806 on-call human-resource services to run new 50-bed AYUSH hospitals in 12 districts plus a 30-bed facility in Barwani, to be managed under the National AYUSH Mission.
  • Sanctioned positions include 52 Class-1, 91 Class-2 and 230 Class-3 posts, with on-call services of 91 Class-2, 117 Class-3 and 598 Class-4 roles.
  • The AYUSH staffing outlay is estimated at Rs 25.57 crore.
  • Mission Vatsalya’s non-institutional care, foster care and aftercare will continue for five years at Rs 1,022.40 crore (Rs 408.96 crore state share; Rs 613.44 crore central), with 33,346 beneficiaries identified and Rs 4,000 monthly support per eligible child plus aftercare training at 18.
  • Farmers may opt for a solar pump one capacity higher than their temporary electricity connection (3 HP to 5 HP; 5 HP to 7.5 HP), while the cabinet also approved 2025 service rules for the MP Science and Technology Council, 7th Pay benefits for Medico-Legal Institution officers, and nine posts for the District Legal Services Authority in Agar-Malwa.
