Maddock Films Launches Ambitious Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe

The studio announces an eight-film slate blending supernatural elements with humor, set to release from 2025 to 2028.

Maddock Films has unveiled a connected cinematic universe of eight horror-comedy films, starting with 'Thama' in October 2025.
The lineup includes sequels to popular hits like 'Stree 3' and 'Bhediya 2,' alongside new titles such as 'Chamunda' and 'Shakti Shalini.'
The series will culminate in 2028 with two epic films, 'Pehla Mahayudh' and 'Doosra Mahayudh,' releasing in August and during Diwali, respectively.
Studio head Dinesh Vijan emphasized the universe's grounding in Indian culture and folklore, aiming to create relatable yet innovative storytelling.
Maddock's success with 'Stree' in 2018 and subsequent films inspired this expansive project, which blends humor, thrills, and supernatural themes.
