Overview

  • This year’s display will launch from four barges in the East River and for the first time project animation mapping onto the Brooklyn Bridge towers with 80,000 shells in more than 30 colors reaching up to 1,000 feet.
  • Registration for 100,000 free tickets for prime viewing areas in Brooklyn Bridge Park and Manhattan’s Seaport District closed this afternoon, offering reserved sections to ticket holders.
  • Thousands of NYPD officers along with harbor and aviation units have deployed as streets, bridges and the Brooklyn Bridge itself closed today to secure public viewing zones.
  • The two-hour broadcast hosted by Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose begins at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock and features performances by the Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Ava Max, Keke Palmer, Trisha Yearwood and Eric Church.
  • ADA-accessible viewing is available at Murry Bergtraum Softball Field and first-come, first-serve access spans the elevated portions of the FDR Drive with multiple entry points.
