Overview
- The 49th annual display will launch at 8 p.m. ET from the Brooklyn Bridge and four barges on the East River, firing more than 80,000 shells reaching up to 1,000 feet.
- For the first time the Brooklyn Bridge’s East and West Towers will feature animated projection mapping alongside 11 new pyrotechnic effects in over 30 colors.
- Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose will host, with performances by the Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Ava Max, Keke Palmer, Trisha Yearwood and Eric Church and a score by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and James Poyser.
- The two-hour special airs live on NBC and streams on Peacock from 8 to 10 p.m. ET with an encore at 10 p.m. and Spanish-language coverage on Telemundo from 9 to 10 p.m.
- New York City has issued free tickets for designated viewing areas in Brooklyn Bridge Park and along Pier 16 and Pier 17, closed the Brooklyn Bridge and FDR Drive, and deployed thousands of NYPD officers along with harbor and aviation units.
