Macau Police Arrest Suspect in Murder of Chinese Woman in Thailand

Ma, a 34-year-old Chinese national, was apprehended while attempting to flee to Hong Kong after allegedly killing Yan Ruimin.

Thai police discovered Yan Ruimin's dismembered remains in Chachoengsao Province.
Ma was identified through surveillance footage and detained in Macau on July 10.
Yan's family received a ransom demand of 1 million yuan after her disappearance.
DNA tests are being conducted to confirm the identity of the remains found.
The case has been transferred to Chinese authorities for further investigation.
