'5 Dollar Pony Rides' is now available on streaming platforms, marking the first official release from Mac Miller's upcoming posthumous album, 'Balloonerism.'
The album, recorded in 2013-2014, includes 12 tracks, two of which have never leaked online, and features collaborations with SZA and Miller's alter ego, Delusional Thomas.
Thundercat, Ronald Bruner Jr., and Kintaro co-produced the lead single alongside Miller, who worked under his Larry Fisherman pseudonym.
The Miller estate emphasized that releasing 'Balloonerism' was important to the late artist, as unofficial versions of the album have circulated online for years.
Physical editions of the album, including limited-edition vinyl with special packaging, are available for preorder ahead of the January 17 release date, which coincides with the fifth anniversary of Miller's first posthumous album, 'Circles.'
