Mac McClung and Rising Stars Join 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest

The two-time defending champion will attempt a historic three-peat against a field featuring rookies Stephon Castle and Matas Buzelis.

The 2025 Slam Dunk Contest will take place on February 15 at Chase Center in San Francisco, part of NBA All-Star Weekend festivities.
Mac McClung, the reigning two-time champion, aims to become the first player to win three consecutive dunk contest titles.
Joining McClung in the competition are San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle, Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis, and Milwaukee Bucks second-year player Andre Jackson Jr.
Stephon Castle, a standout rookie for the Spurs, is also expected to participate in the Rising Stars Game during All-Star Weekend.
The event will air on TNT following the skills challenge and three-point contest, with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. EST.
