Ma'a Nonu Returns to Toulon at Age 42 as Medical Replacement

The legendary All Blacks center rejoins the French Top 14 club for a short-term stint, making him the oldest player in league history.

Ma'a Nonu, the 42-year-old former All Blacks star, has signed with Toulon as a medical joker until the end of the season.
Nonu replaces injured players Setariki Tuicuvu, Gabin Villiere, and Antoine Frisch, providing experienced cover for the team.
This marks Nonu's third stint with Toulon, having previously played for the club from 2015–2018 and during the 2020–2021 season.
Toulon is currently second in the Top 14 standings and faces Lyon this weekend, where Nonu could make his third debut for the team.
Nonu, a two-time Rugby World Cup champion with New Zealand, earned 103 international caps and has recently been playing for San Diego Legion in Major League Rugby.
