Overview
- On September 28 at about 7:50 pm, a single car on the M6 southbound between junctions 13 and 14 struck a barrier and came to rest on its roof.
- A man and a woman were treated by West Midlands Ambulance Service and taken to Stafford County Hospital with injuries not believed to be serious, as police managed traffic.
- National Highways held traffic with delays building to around 60 minutes and four miles of congestion before all lanes reopened by 10:51 pm following recovery.
- In a separate incident at about 2:25 pm on Biddulph Road in Fegg Hayes, two vehicles were involved, including one that was parked at the time.
- A boy was assessed for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital, while a woman was treated at the scene and discharged; vehicles were later recovered.
