- Gerard Johnstone, known for directing M3GAN and its upcoming sequel, has been tapped to direct the live-action Monster High adaptation for Mattel Studios, Universal Pictures and Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road banner.
- The film will present an original narrative based on Mattel’s 2010 fashion-doll line, depicting the teenage children of legendary monsters navigating life at a fictional high school.
