M27 Westbound Hilsea–J12 Shut All Weekend as Overnight Closures Roll Out Sept. 26–28

Overnight windows are designed to advance upgrade works with signed diversions to keep daytime traffic moving.

Overview

  • National Highways confirmed the M27 westbound will be closed from Hilsea to Junction 12 from 9pm Friday until 6am Monday for interchange bridge upgrades.
  • The M3 in Hampshire will see a northbound carriageway closure between Junctions 12 and 11 from 9pm to 6am for structural works, alongside timed slip-road closures at Junctions 9 and 2.
  • In Essex, the M25 clockwise link from Junction 30 to the A13 eastbound closes 11pm Friday to 5am Saturday for technology works, with the Junction 31 entry slip shut 10pm to 5am for QEII Bridge maintenance.
  • Dartford Crossing restrictions include the west tunnel northbound closed 11pm to 5.30am, a QEII Bridge overnight shutdown 10pm to 5am, and a 4.8m height limit during tunnel or bridge closures.
  • Sussex works include an A23 southbound closure from Bolney to the B2117 from 8pm Friday to 6am Saturday for resurfacing, plus multiple A27 overnight closures and the A27 westbound to M275 southbound link shut until 6am Monday.
