M. Scott Havens, Former Bloomberg Media CEO, Joins New York Mets as President of Business Operations

Havens, known for his significant contributions to Bloomberg's digital transformation, will oversee the Mets' business strategy, marking his first venture into the business side of baseball.

The New York Mets have hired M. Scott Havens, former CEO of Bloomberg Media, as their new president of business operations.
Havens will oversee all day-to-day aspects of the team's business strategy, excluding baseball operations, and will report to Mets co-owner, chairman and CEO Steve Cohen.
Havens is recognized for his work at Bloomberg, where he played a significant role in the company's digital transformation and global growth.
This is Havens' first venture into the business side of baseball, having largely focused on the strategic development of digital products within the news, business, sports, and entertainment publications.
Havens will officially join the organization in January 2024.
